The prize programme

Entries are earned, never bought

Your membership fee buys admission to the partner club network, a discount at the bar and access to the merchant network. It does not buy entries. Entries are earned by turning up, spending on course, renewing and referring — and there is a free route in that needs neither a membership nor a purchase.

The programme has not opened
The prize programme has not opened. No draw will be run, and no entries are being issued, until a trade promotion permit has been granted. Everything on this page describes how it will work when it does. Nothing here is an invitation to enter, and your membership is priced as though the programme did not exist. We are publishing it now, unopened, because the five disclosures below are the whole point — and a programme that only becomes transparent after it launches is not transparent.

How you earn entries

Every member earns on the same terms. A Group 1 member at the top of the ladder earns exactly what a Maiden member earns for the same behaviour.

Why it is built this way
Australian law is changing on how subscription-linked prize draws work. A fee that is primarily payment for a gamble is the thing the reform is aimed at. Ours is not: it buys admission with a published market price, and no amount of money buys an entry at any tier. That is a design decision, not a disclaimer.

The five things we publish

As far as our market scan could tell, no operator in this category publishes all five. Where something is not yet in place, it says so.

Live entry count

Published

No draw is open, so there are no entries to count. This figure appears here the moment one opens.

You can see how many entries are in the draw before it is drawn, not after.

Odds at a typical earning rate

Published

Published against the live pool once a draw opens. A typical member would hold 36 entries.

Published against what an ordinary member actually earns in a season, not a best case.

Permit number and issuing authority

Not yet issued

Not yet issued. No draw will run before a permit is in place.

The trade promotion permit under which each draw runs.

Free no-purchase entry route

Published

Open to anyone. One entry per draw period, no purchase and no membership required.

Published on the pricing page rather than buried in terms. You do not have to be a member, or pay anything, to enter.

Prize pool as a percentage of revenue

Published

0.0% of membership revenue, stated at retail value ($80,800 across 90 draws a year)

Stated at retail value, which is what the prize is worth to the person who wins it, and labelled as such.

Enter free, without joining

You do not have to be a member, and you do not have to spend anything, to go into the draw. One entry per draw period, on the same terms as every earned entry. It sits on this page rather than in the terms, because a free entry route nobody can find is not really a free entry route.

An entrant who is not a member and wins a prize that requires racing registration — an ownership lease, for example — receives a stated alternative prize of equivalent value instead.

Not open yet

There is no draw to enter, so there is nothing to sign up to. When the programme opens, this form is where the free route lives — on the pricing page, not buried in the terms.

What is in the prize pool

90 draws a year, $80,800 at retail value. The number of draws does not change with the size of the member base.

Monthly majorHospitality, a racing experience, or a seasonal ownership lease12$5,000

No prize is cash

Every giveaway is goods, services or an experience. A cash prize is the purest form of the thing the Gambling Reform Bill 2026 is aimed at.

Every prize is purchased, never donated

Admiral takes clean title to a prize before awarding it, so what is advertised can be delivered.

Where the draw runs

Gambling regulation is a state matter, and the rules differ. Rather than run a draw everywhere and hope, we run it only where we hold the right permission.

StateMembershipDrawNote
VICOpenRunsLaunch market.
NSWOpenExcludedMembership is open. The draw is not: New South Wales is the strictest jurisdiction for this category and we will not run an entry-linked programme there without a written compliance opinion.
QLDOpenExcludedMembership is open. The draw opens once a Queensland permit is in place.
SAOpenExcludedMembership is open. The draw programme is excluded in South Australia and is not expected to run there.
WAOpenExcludedMembership is open. Western Australia has its own regulator under the Racing and Wagering Western Australia Act and the draw opens once a permit is in place.
TASNot yetExcludedOutside the network. There is one country club in the state and it has withdrawn from the season.
NTNot yetExcludedOutside the network. Two clubs, no viable country circuit.
ACTNot yetExcludedOutside the network. A single metropolitan-grade track.

Memberships sold at the $209 entry tier in a state where the draw is excluded carry every other benefit — admission, feature-day discounts, food and beverage and the merchant network — and are priced the same. The draw is not what you are paying for.
