Draw conditions
The conditions on which Admiral Rewards prize draws are run. Drafted 22 September 2026.
1. The promoter
The promoter is Admiral Rewards Pty Ltd, trading as Admiral Rewards, a company registered in Australia and a member of the Admiral Racing Group, of which Admiral Racing Pty Ltd is its parent company.
Entering a draw means accepting these conditions and the promoter’s decisions on everything covered by them.
2. Entries are earned, never bought
No payment of any kind increases your entries. Not the membership fee, not the tier you chose, not anything bought on course or from a merchant.
A higher tier does not earn at a higher rate. Every member earns on the same schedule:
| What you did | Entries |
|---|---|
| Attended a meeting at a partner club and scanned in | 10 |
| Each $10 spent on course | 1 |
| Renewed a membership for a further season | 50 |
| Referred someone who took out a membership and kept it | 75 |
| Free entry route, per draw period, no purchase or membership | 1 |
Spending on course earns at a fixed rate per dollar and is capped at the entries earned by attending. It is there because it reflects turning up, not because we want to sell you more drinks.
Entries are personal, have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or gifted, and expire at the end of the draw period in which they were earned.
3. The free entry route
You do not have to be a member, and you do not have to spend anything, to enter.
Anyone aged 18 or over and resident in a state where the draw runs may enter free, once per draw period, using the form on the draws page. A free entry has exactly the same weight in the draw as an earned one. It is published on the draws page rather than buried here, because a free route nobody can find is not a free route.
We ask only for the details needed to contact a winner and to stop one person entering repeatedly. Those details are handled under the privacy policy and are deleted after the draw period closes unless you have won.
4. Permit and jurisdiction
A draw runs only in a state where we hold the permission that state requires, and only for the period that permission covers.
Not yet issued. No draw will run before a permit is in place.
Where the draw is currently planned to run: VIC. The position in each state:
- VIC. Launch market.
- NSW. Membership is open. The draw is not: New South Wales is the strictest jurisdiction for this category and we will not run an entry-linked programme there without a written compliance opinion.
- QLD. Membership is open. The draw opens once a Queensland permit is in place.
- SA. Membership is open. The draw programme is excluded in South Australia and is not expected to run there.
- WA. Membership is open. Western Australia has its own regulator under the Racing and Wagering Western Australia Act and the draw opens once a permit is in place.
- TAS. Outside the network. There is one country club in the state and it has withdrawn from the season.
- NT. Outside the network. Two clubs, no viable country circuit.
- ACT. Outside the network. A single metropolitan-grade track.
Entries from a state where the draw does not run are not accepted and are not counted. If you move states mid-season, your eligibility follows where you live.
5. Who may enter
Entrants must be 18 or over and resident in Australia in an eligible state. Our directors, employees and contractors, and their immediate families, may not enter. Nor may anyone employed by a partner club in a role connected with the draw, or by a supplier of a prize.
A person who has self-excluded from a gambling programme is welcome to hold a membership. If you would rather not be entered into draws at all, tell us and we will exclude you permanently while leaving your membership and every other benefit untouched. You do not have to give a reason.
6. The prizes
Three cadences, 90 draws in a full season:
| Cadence | Draws a year | What the prize is | Retail value each |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly | 52 | Merchandise | $150 |
| Fortnightly | 26 | Dinner for two or an equivalent experience | $500 |
| Monthly major | 12 | Hospitality, a racing experience, or a seasonal ownership lease | $5,000 |
Two rules govern every prize, without exception:
- No prize is cash, and no prize is redeemable for cash. Every prize is goods, a service or an experience.
- Every prize is bought by us, never donated. We take clean title before we advertise it, so what is advertised can be delivered.
Values are stated at retail — what the prize is worth to the person who wins it. A prize cannot be exchanged for a different one. If a prize becomes genuinely unavailable before it is awarded, we will substitute something of equal or greater retail value and say that we have done so.
Where a prize is a racing experience or a seasonal ownership lease and it requires registration with a racing authority, an entrant who cannot be registered receives a stated alternative prize of equivalent value instead. That alternative is named in the conditions for that draw before it is drawn, not decided afterwards.
7. How a draw is conducted
Each draw is made by a random selection process from all valid entries in the draw period, conducted at the time and place stated in the conditions for that draw. Entries are numbered and the selection is verifiable after the fact.
Before each draw closes, we publish the number of entries in it. After it, we publish the winner’s first name, initial and state, unless they ask us not to and we are permitted to withhold it.
Winners are notified using the contact details we hold, within 2 business days. A prize unclaimed after 3 months is redrawn from the same entry pool, where the relevant permit allows a redraw, and we publish that it happened.
8. What we publish about every draw
These are commitments, not a description of good intentions. Each is published before the draw it relates to.
You can see how many entries are in the draw before it is drawn, not after.
Published against what an ordinary member actually earns in a season, not a best case.
The trade promotion permit under which each draw runs.
Not yet issued. No draw will run before a permit is in place.
Published on the pricing page rather than buried in terms. You do not have to be a member, or pay anything, to enter.
Open to anyone. One entry per draw period, no purchase and no membership required.
Stated at retail value, which is what the prize is worth to the person who wins it, and labelled as such.
Odds are published against what an ordinary member actually earns across a season, not against a single entry and not against a best case. A number that flatters us is worse than no number.
9. Invalid entries
We may reject an entry, or remove entries already earned, where a scan was not a genuine attendance, where the free entry route has been used more than once in a period by the same person, where entries were obtained through an automated process or a false identity, or where a referral was not genuine.
Where we do that we will tell you, and if you think we have it wrong you can say so and we will look again.
10. Tax, and your own affairs
We do not withhold tax from a prize. Depending on your circumstances a prize may have tax consequences, and any GST or other liability arising from receiving one is yours. If a prize is significant, take your own advice. We cannot give it to you.
11. Our responsibility
Nothing in these conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a prize supplier failing to perform, for an entry that does not reach us through no fault of ours, or for any indirect loss arising from a draw. Where a prize includes travel, hospitality or an experience, it is subject to the supplier’s own terms and to availability, and both are stated with the prize.
12. If this stops being fun
These draws are not gambling: you cannot buy an entry and you cannot lose money on one. But this is a racing product, and we would rather say it than not.
If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, Gambler’s Help is available 24 hours a day on 1800 858 858, and at gamblinghelponline.org.au. Ask us to exclude you from draws at any time and we will, permanently, without affecting anything else about your membership.
